ABOUT

Born and raised in beautiful west central Florida, a charismatic and inspiring Ken Navitsky grew up focusing on his family, friends, and athletics.  As a 1989 Graduate of Riverview High School, Ken was one of 50 recipients out of 700 seniors, honored with the prestigious "First Among Equals" award. Valuing the camaraderie of team and the

excitement of competition, he stayed active as a member of the football, soccer, and track teams, and was also a proud participant of Varsity Fellowship and The Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Ken's hard work and commitment to excellence earned him a football scholarship to Minnesota State University in Mankato,

where he excelled as a multi-sport athlete.  He was recognized as a three-time football All NCC Selection player, as well as a USA Today All American; and had the privilege of participating in four NCSA Soccer National Championship Tournaments.

While attending Minnesota State, Ken met his beautiful wife and best friend Kelly.  A new business venture brought Ken and Kelly to Rochester in 1997, where they have raised two children, Peyton and Parker, and have resided ever since.  Ken's roots are deep in this district, this is his home. He has vigorously committed himself to the betterment of team, founding soccer programs for local high schools and joining the football coaching staff at RCTC. Carrying his love of the home team into a new arena, Ken was appointed to the Commission by former Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede and proudly served the city and county as a City Commissioner for six years.

Ken traveled for years as a motorsports host for companies like Monster Jam and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live.  This platform allowed him the privilege to meet and impact people all over the world, with his heartfelt sincerity and love for his community and country.

Currently a Sales Executive for Nickelson Painting & Restoration, Ken is ready to get back in the game for and with the people.  There are many challenges for our community today but moving forward in faith is what Ken believes will make the change!  Difference of opinion, skin color, background or economic status should not separate us, our differences should make us stronger.  We need to stop focusing on what separates us and start fighting for what holds us together.  The voice of House District 25 A needs to be heard now more than ever.  Let's rise, Truckers, Farmers, Health Care Workers, Teachers, Small Business Owners, Veterans, Retirees, and make common sense common once again!
