Ken realizes how blessed we are to have so many reliable energy resources right here at home.  The current world instability has cause us great harm as mothers and fathers looking to provide for our families.  Ken believes this is a hardship that has unnecessarily been placed on the shoulders of the American citizens. 

Ken is a staunch believer in energy independence for our nation, and that translates into opportunities right here in our district.   Whether we are working on Bio-Fuels, Wind, Solar, or increasing the capacity to refine fuels, we need to be a leader, and never be held hostage over something we have in abundance.
